An update of a tired 80s-era kitchen design that had a challenging work-flow. A walk-in pantry restricted available space. The homeowners brought in Kristine Tyler of Tree Frog Design to create a vision. The result was a total kitchen gut - including the pantry - replacing dark, dated oak cabinets and red tile countertops with European frameless Belmont cabinets (a mixture of white and gray textured melamine) topped with Pental Argento quartz countertops. Extra flourishes include roll-out shelves, cove moldings, and light valances to obscure the under- and over-cabinet LED lighting.

House Rehab

Normally we don't do rehabs on mobile homes, but the setting on a picturesque riverfront was so compelling, we decided to take it on. We replaced the roof with a truss roof and totally gutted the interior. To make it affordable, all of the cabinets come from Ikea, and they turned out beautifully. We made the open living room area even more open by installing French doors that open to a cedar deck, which overlooks the river just steps away.
